Bar Tutto
Bar Tutto earns the thirtieth spot because Flamm has accomplished what piazza-concept restaurants usually only promise: a room that is genuinely good at every hour of the day.
On Carroll Avenue in Fulton Market, Bar Tutto arrived in late 2025 as Joe Flamm's fourth Chicago concept, organized around the rhythms of an Italian wine bar rather than a single daypart. Mornings mean bomboloni, cornetti, and espresso from Caffè Umbria; afternoons bring panini and antipasti; evenings shift to pastas and dishes from the custom wood-fired grill. The sourcing runs toward Italian imports and the beverage program takes wine as seriously as the food.
Flamm is an operator who knows how to run a room — Top Chef winner, Rose Mary and Sophia's already on his record — and Bar Tutto shows the confidence that comes from that experience. The Fulton Market address is competitive, but Bar Tutto has found a distinct pitch: not a destination restaurant but a living room, which is harder to sustain and, when done right, more valuable.
